Phoenix Software has implemented its Licence Dashboard™ for Leeds Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to help address its Microsoft licencing issues.
Cost cutting in the NHS has meant the end of the NHS Enterprise-wide Agreement with Microsoft. This programme kept track and reported on software installations made across the Trust’s network. Leeds Trust has approximately 2,000 devices to keep track of and make sure that they are fully compliant with the terms of the manufacturer’s licence agreements.
Phoenix Software had the solution the Trust needed. The Licence Dashboard™ Enterprise Edition was able to interface with Microsoft SCCM/SMS and enhance the Trust’s Software Asset Management process, incorporating easier to manage reports and audits.
The Licence Dashboard™ Enterprise Edition allows an Administrator to manage day-to-day licencing chores without having to be a specialist. It provides greater clarity, gives organisations more informed purchasing decision and ultimately reduces illegal and financial exposure.
Russell Hornshaw, IT Manager, Leeds Partnership NHS Foundation Trust said: “Managing the transfer of licence between PCs when they came to their end of life was becoming a major headache. To overcome these challenges we worked with Phoenix Software who helped us select a solution and strengthen our Software Asset Management processes. We can now effectively manage and report on our entire software licence base.” ***
