Fiserv, the global provider of financial services technology solutions and the largest provider of business-driven technology solutions for credit unions, and Georgia’s Own Credit Union of Atlanta, Ga., announced that Georgia’s Own has chosen to implement the Acumen account processing solution from Fiserv with in-house delivery and integrated value-add solutions from Fiserv.
The $1.6 billion institution cited the solution’s ability to enhance member service, the diversity of available integrated add-on solutions and the opportunity to partner with an industry leader as key decision factors.
As part of a multi-channel upgrade, Georgia’s Own will implement other Fiserv products, including Corillian Online for online banking, CheckFree RXP for electronic bill payment, Mobile Money for mobile banking, ZashPay for person-to-person payments. Georgia’s Own also selected modules from the Prologue Financial Accounting Solutions suite from Fiserv.
“Our number one priority is to provide unmatched service to our members, and as the credit union industry’s most modern solution, Acumen creates many new opportunities to serve the member how, when and where he or she deems convenient. We look forward to implementing this leading-edge system along with new, expedient member services from Fiserv, including mobile banking, online bill payment and person-to-person payments,” said Kelly Garmon, senior vice president for Georgia’s Own Credit Union. “In making this decision we wanted to select not only a solid, innovative technology solution, but also a provider with whom we could forge a long-term partnership. With an impressive portfolio of solutions, industry domain knowledge and the progressive leadership necessary to help us remain competitive in a changing marketplace, Fiserv is an ideal choice for our new technology partner.”

The credit union will leverage the advanced capabilities of Acumen – including 360-degree member views; built-in member relationship management and commercial services tools; and a flexible, easy-to-customize platform that’s open at every tier – to meet their goal to deliver superior service to their close to 170,000 members.
