This will be a EMEA based position, and will require up to 50% regional and international travel. This leadership role will be focused on extending our capabilities and working on ground breaking, innovative service opportunities for end-to-end optimization of enterprise infrastructure solutions, with particular focus and depth in Enterprise Mobile Computing solutions. The Architect will be expected to have an understanding of all aspects, from assessment to design and implementation, in order to facilitate global offer development and bring thought leadership to these disciplines.
Maintain broad based technical and solutions knowledge in key enterprise mobile solution areas:
• Drivers, enablers and requirements for
o Business Process expansion to mobile workforce
o Workflow including requests, authorizations, key metrics to mobile workforce
o Unified Communications
o Consumerization of the mobile device
• Mobile Application Management & Testing
o Solid understanding of mobile application architectures (such as J2ME, Browser Based Architectures ,etc)
o Identification of business applications required for mobile environment
o Identify internal and external resource to provide Application services
• Mobile Enterprise Applications Platforms
o Best practices in the evaluation, selection and deployment of enterprise mobile platforms (e.g. Antenna Software, Sybase, RIM, Microsoft)
• Mobile Device Management to include
o Asset tracking, management, provisioning
o Security concerns and mitigation – knowledge of best practice industry solutions
o Update and revision management, including OTA best practices
o Telecommunications expense management solutions
o Knowledge of MDM providers and best practices for implementation (e.g. Tangoe,Sybase)
• Enterprise Mobile Infrastructure
o Network dependencies
o Mobile device selection – from PC to Smartphone
o Backend software infrastructure requirements including OS, enterprise mobile platform
o Backend hardware infrastructure requirements including server/storage
Serve as a recognized subject matter expert and thought leader with deep expertise in Enterprise Mobility Solutions. Will also be able to orchestrate and lead pre-sales and delivery of holistic solutions for large enterprise and public customers. Proven experience in leading the sale and delivery of assessment services, development of business cases, design solution architecture, and multi-phased, complex migration programs that address technology, people/organization, and process change.
Work closely with sales to assist in business development and pre-sales opportunities for consulting-led solutions. Design and implement infrastructure solutions for early adopter and strategic Dell customers. Assist in identifying new and improved consulting methods, approaches, tools, templates and delivery guides. Maintain contact and build relationship with customer executives and lead architects to ensure continual customer satisfaction.

Work closely and in a leadership capacity with various technical consultants and project teams to identify and resolve issues, while mitigating customer impact during engagements.
Assume leadership on engagements and work without direct supervision, interfacing with customer IT and business-function leaders.
Understand and accommodate competing political demands in customer organization.
Fully conversant with the Dell portfolio, including Products and Services to ensure where appropriate they are presented as the default solution.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Experienced presentation skills with advanced understanding of PowerPoint and Excel
• Financial fluency which includes working with ROI, cost analysis, and financial statements
• 5+ years direct experience; 10+ years related experience
• BS and/or MBA in related field expected; certifications such as PMP highly regarded
• Primary language – English fully fluent spoken and written, further languages a distinct advantage. ***
