Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has a requirement for the supply, installation, implementation and maintenance of an order communications system (OCS) which includes I.T software and related services. The procurement will include the option to expand to General Practitioners (GP) and community order communications and will therefore include both ward based and the option of GP based ordering. The required order communications system must compliment existing services, such as the Patient Administration System (PAS), within the Trust and will be required to have HL7 interfaces and the ability to be integrated with the Trust's Electronic Patient Records (EPR) system. The system will facilitate electronic ordering and reporting for both Pathology and Radiology and have the ability to expand to other departmental orders. The system will be demonstrable within a healthcare environment. Miscellaneous software package and computer systems.
