Daju Gu appointed President of Razor Risk

TMX Group Inc.'s (TSX:X) announced the appointment of Daju Gu as President, Razor Risk. Mr. Gu will be responsible for the overall management of all Razor Risk's operations, as well as overseeing the organization's functional and technological roadmap.

“Daju has extensive experience in both risk management technology and consulting,” said Richard Simon, Vice President, TMX Technology Solutions. “He is a great addition to the existing Razor team and will help bring tremendous value to our existing and future customers as we strive to address their constantly evolving risk management challenges.”

Razor Risk, which was acquired by TMX Group in February 2012, is a leading provider of risk management technology and consulting solutions to financial institutions worldwide.

“I am extremely excited about the opportunity to lead the growth of Razor Risk,” said Mr. Gu. “I look forward to working with the existing team to further strengthen Razor Risk's leading market position in risk management.”

Mr. Gu has over 20 years of international consulting experience in serving financial industries, including banking, capital markets, insurance and software development. Most recently, he served as Program Manager for the team that delivered TMX Group's fixed income central counter party services (Phase I) in February 2012.
