Comodo Group, Inc., a brand in Internet security, has selected Callidus Software to manage its commissions. Under the agreement, signed in the first quarter of 2010, Comodo will use Callidus Software`s Force.com-based Commissions Manager to track and manage sales commissions for its direct sales force in North America.
Callidus Software`s self-service Force.com applications deliver an easy on-ramp to sales performance management. With Commissions Manager, sales professionals can track their deal status and projected commissions, initiate claims for credit and payment on closed deals, and track the status and amounts of paid and pending commission as part of their day-to-day opportunity management. In addition, role-based dashboards across stakeholders help identify claims pending payment, overall earnings, and sales operations and financial performance to date.
"The solution is fully integrated with our Salesforce CRM system and allows us to manage our sales automation and performance management in one place, with no additional software or setup. With Commissions Manager, we can now track commissions for upcoming and closed deals, as well as commissions claims and payments. This provides transparency into the commissions process not only for management, but also for sales. This way, our sales force has confidence in our solution and can focus on selling rather than auditing earnings reports," says Sharif Shaalan, Salesforce.com administrator at Comodo.
"In a highly competitive market like Internet security, businesses can only be successful if they can effectively motivate sales and improve confidence in the commissions process through enhanced transparency," says Lorna Heynike, senior vice president of marketing at Callidus Software. "We provide our customers with solutions that enable their sales force to use an integrated platform to manage their own deal and earnings pipeline. This puts the sales rep at the center of the selling process and helps increase confidence in the system, reduce shadow accounting, and save precious selling time." *
